Library Services Available at Both Library Sites:

  • Public FAX ($1.00 per page to send the first page $.25 for each additional page; $.25 per page to receive)

  • Public photocopiers ($.15 per page; $.25 legal size or double-sided)
  • Ellison Machine and Dies at both Libraries (bring your own paper)
  • Interlibrary Loan: We are part of the SEO (Serving Every Ohioan) Consortium which means we have access to the holdings of 75 library systems and 166 locations in 36 Ohio counties. SEO serves libraries from Port Clinton to Peebles, from Brown County to Bryan, and from Carrolton to Celina. There are over 5.9 million items in the database, 660,089 registered borrowers, 999,244 bibliographic records, and our annual circulation  for 2008 was 13,970,007.  SEO libraries sent over 150,000 items to 127  non-SEO public libraries, and 17,373 to 19 Ohio Correctional institutions. Your Elmore or Genoa library card may be used at any SEO library (including all Ottawa County libraries and all those in Wood County.) ebooks and electronic recorded books as well as music may now be downloaded to your PC and then to your MP3 player from our online catalog.

    Fines for ALL overdue materials are $.10 per day.  All printed material, with the exception of new popular fiction circulate for 28 days.  All materials may be renewed provided no one is waiting for them.
    No fines are charged for patrons under 16, over 60 or for teachers who check out material for classroom use.

    Voter registration and Golden Buckeye Registration are also available.

    Library cards are available to all regardless of age. A replacement charge of $1.00 is charged for a lost card.
